It was revealed yesterday (13 March) that Stormzy’s debut album ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ is now certified gold and in honour of this massive achievement, he has dropped the visuals for “Cold”.

Prior to the release of the visuals, Stormzy took to Instagram to prepare fans for the sick new video. “In celebration of #GSAP going gold, I present to you #COLD” Stormzy wrote in a caption to announce the big news.

The visuals are dark and icy and place emphasis on the young black generation, which coincides with Stormzy’s lyrics “All my young black kings rise up this is our year/and my young black queens right there”.

Despite being just over two weeks old, GSAP has already moved over 100,000 units and the album has also been well-received by critics and supporters. The new achievement comes just days after we learned Stormzy’s “Shut Up” had gone platinum while #GSAP’s lead single “Big For Your Boots” has gone silver.

#GSAP keeps going from strength to strength and it looks like Stormzy’s winning streak is not about to end anytime soon.
